Thanks for sharing this, Eric. Something about the creative flow sometimes highlights that creative syndrome, as you mentioned. I think it helps for me to see that most people are going on in their own lives and that very few actually pay attention--which of course has its pros and cons. The big pro is that there's actually a lot more creative freedom. The con is that, well, very few really are paying attention. :)
So true! Attention is such a precious commodity these days. I think you bring up a great point about attention having pro/con aspects. You have to pay attention to how you're using your attention - a tricky first step :-). Thanks for sharing your thoughts Thalia!
